For people between roles
Career Traction is a private workspace that turns a job search into a steady, manageable practice. A clear pipeline, weekly goals, wellbeing check-ins and progress you can see. Built on the evidence about what actually helps people land well.
Funded by organisations. Owned entirely by the person.
For organisations
When you exit someone well, everyone watching learns what your organisation is really like. Career Traction gives the person leaving something genuinely useful: not a brochure and a workshop, but a working tool they open every day of their search.
One credit covers one person for twelve months. No minimums, no platform fees, no lock-in.
What’s inside
Everything lives in one workspace, so the person can stop holding it all in their head.
Every application in one place, from research to offer. No more spreadsheet archaeology or lost follow-ups.
Small, specific weekly targets with a built-in “if this gets in the way, then I’ll…” plan. The single strongest habit in the research.
Today’s next steps, follow-ups that surface themselves, and an activity history that shows the work adding up.
Honest check-ins, energy tracking and gentle prompts. A job search is an emotional marathon; the tool treats it that way.
Connections tagged by what they actually offer: information, resources or sponsorship. The gaps become visible, and so do the people who can close them.
Streaks with grace built in, response tracking framed to motivate rather than judge, and achievements that mark real momentum.
The promise that makes it work
Career Traction reports nothing back. No dashboards, no usage reports, no visibility of anyone’s search. The person owns their data completely, and it stays theirs after the engagement ends.
That line isn’t a feature. It’s the reason people trust the tool enough to be honest in it, and honesty is what makes it useful.
Why these features
Decades of re-employment research point to the same things: structured goal-setting, if‑then planning, social support and sustained routine are what shorten searches and improve the quality of the role people land. Every feature in Career Traction traces back to that evidence base, and anything that doesn’t earn its place stays out.
Who’s behind it
I’m a senior People & Culture practitioner with twenty years in the work, six of them at Chief People Officer level. I’ve led restructures, and I’ve been through a search of my own. Career Traction is the tool I wanted on both sides of that table.
Get in early
Organisations wanting Career Traction for their people, and individuals wanting it for themselves: both welcome. Tell me a little about you and I’ll be in touch as places open up.
